Join us for a community meeting and update regarding the demolition that took place at 319 Sherman Ave N in September.
We will hear from the City’s Public Health Department and representatives from the provincial Ministry of the Environment, Conservation & Parks (MECP) regarding the outcome of sample testing from properties near the demolition site. The company responsible for the demolition on-site, Delsan-AIM, will be in attendance and be able to provide information on future plans for the site. We will also be joined by staff from the City’s Building Department to shed light on the demolition permit process and important changes that can mitigate the occurrence of future events like this one.
Residents are invited to share their questions and concerns at the meeting, if you are unable to attend, please feel welcome to submit questions to Ward3@Hamilton.ca
Doors will open at 6:00pm with presentations beginning at 6:30.
Refreshments & Transit tickets provided.
The Cotton Factory is accessible with an elevator at the east entrance (right off the parking lot). The meeting room is equipped with an accessible washroom. Signage will be well posted.
